Capol GmbH acquires Curt Georgi GmbH & Co. KG

Elmshorn, July 2, 2025 – Capol GmbH, Elmshorn, Germany (CAPOL), has acquired Curt Georgi GmbH & Co. KG, Böblingen, Germany (Curt Georgi), effective June 30, 2025. CAPOL is a business unit of Freudenberg Chemical Specialities GmbH (FCS), Munich. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. As part of the long-term growth strategy, CAPOL thus sets the stage for further development and targeted integration of existing and new areas of expertise in the food industry.

Strategic expansion of the flavor portfolio

Since its founding as an innovative family-owned company 150 years ago, Curt Georgi has become a key provider of specialized flavors. With a broad range of natural and nature-identical flavors, the company is trusted by leading confectionery, baked goods, milk and ice cream companies worldwide. High-quality products and world-class technical advice make Curt Georgi known as a flexible partner with a high level of customer-specific solution expertise.

The common customer structure and high levels of supplement between CAPOL’s and Curt Georgi’s excellent product programs form the strategic basis to successfully continue the international growth trajectory of both companies as part of the integration. Shared values such as partnership, quality and trust form the foundation of the acquisition and stand for a sustainable, long-term oriented further development of Curt Georgi.
